Saint Demiana

This is an illustration of Saint Demiana for her feast day on May 20th.

I’ve always been most impressed with saint Demiana’s courage when she confronted her father. She may not have slayed a proverbial Dragon or held dialogue with demons, but this is courage I can understand and relate to.
